AACE 29r-03 - What is a 'Discrete Delay Event'?
Got any questions about Claim Assessment
Hi
Please advise
Contract period for MEP Scope of works mentioned as calendar days and there is a letter from the client which states Friday is off applicable to all contractors on board,in this case the impact of delay event should be calculated as calendar days or working days

Hi All
Anyone have experience in using animations for illustrating delay/loss of productivity such as a major change in procedure/methodology for an activity?
I assume records have to be excellent?
I hear Pickvance Consultants have used this and it is getting more recognised in the courts.
There is an example on the SCL website as an attachment for one of Keith's papers. He used piling and excavation as an example.

Hi all
Ive been asssigned onto a civil project that is approx 50% complete and has no approved or logical baseline (open ends, hanging activites and unapplicable activties).
Records to date have been inaccurate. The entire management structure has been changed and i've assigned to compile change orders for extra scope, disruption and EOT. Change order is the only mechanism in the contract for cost/time increase.
For EOT demonstration has anyone got some advise on dealing with poor records?
Hello All,
As this is my 1st posting on PP website I apologise in advance if this question is a repeat of previous posts. I have read quite alot of threads but did not come across one that covered this topic. Not saying it does not exist somehwere.
My question is not so much one of methodology (TIA, As-built vs As-planned etc) but simply of procedure and a fundamental one at that.
I have read your comments, not really helpful.
Having read some of the papers written on delay analysis, I thought you might have been able to shed some light on
the issues I had discovered and raised, or at the least investigate and discuss further, for clarity.
I will leave it at that, no further discussion required.
Hello planners,
I have been asked to prepare an EOT claim for a project which is in the handing over stage. Contract duration is 500days and the project end date slipped by an year due to delay in approvals (design, materials) & additional works.
My situation is
1. Baseline is not accepted (although the updated program is attached along with the monthly progress report)
ello All,
our company install drainage pipe but another company working at same area during excavation break our pipe.......so what we do??
Regards,
Hi all,
I am currently working for a nominated specialist subcontarctor on a building project.
We are preparing to launch a application for EOT.
We have enough evidence to prove that that there has been a delay to the structural work by 4.5 months, reflected in the main contractor latest issued programme.
We thus revised our installation programme based on their latest structural handover date, which has been agreed in principle.
We will be applying for EOT based on the revised programme, which I will defined as our entitlement programme.
Hi all,
I am extremely confused with the term contract programme. Below the scenario, please help.
I am currently working as a nominated specialist subcontractor on a building project.
Based on letter of award, it specifics that we are suppose to work towards this contract milestone. However the defined milestones doesn't specific our start and completion date, instead the milestones are for the structural main contractor.
