Senior Planner Birse Construction - Tender & Contract Planning on various contracts ranging from £500K bridge refurbishments to £25m sewerage treatment works. Worked on many successful tenders, which were converted, into successful contracts. Involved in developing ‘Planning Standards’, which set out the minimum planning standards to be employed on contracts. Gave presentations to Clients on bids utilising PowerPoint. Involved in Claims. Became acquainted with Water industry conditions of contract and also used the NEC Conditions of Contract on several contracts.

• Projects involved in Bahrain are Individual high quality Villas, Residential Villas (of around 550 No’s), Multistorey Buildings (Max 20 floor), Car Park buildings, Shopping Mall construction, Substations, etc.
• Project planning, project tendering, monitoring, implementation, cost control and contracts claims in INDIA, BAHRAIN and QATAR.
• Supervising, training, monitoring Intermediate and Junior level Planning engineers in BAHRAIN and QATAR.

CCTC was established 36 years ago, operating from its base in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. During this time CCTC has grown to become a significant player in the engineering and contracting sector in the Middle East and Gulf markets. CCTC is specialized in industrial type projects for the Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Industry.

Check the final phase construction networks for Jeddah III Power & Desalination Plant and revise and/or reschedule where necessary to meet power and water production requirements and targets.

During my time with Aramco, I was seconded into the Community & Industrial Facilities Division.  I was site planning engineer for the construction of the Mubarraz Industrial Training Centre,the air conditioning to the centre which was a dedicated chiller plant and cooling tower constructed as part of the overall project.  My responsibilities continues on to the Mubarraz Area Maintenance Training Centre on the adjacent site, and two additional centres being constructed simultaneously by the Korean contractor in Abqaiq and Udhailiyah., I then moved on to plan the construction of

Plan the fabrication of the Scapa Field Subsea Template being constructed at Lewis Offshore. Approve all logic network diagrams submitted by the contractor. Integrate contractor's progress into the overall plan for the Scapa Field Development.  

Develop the master and detailed programme for each of the 8 work packs associated with the Shell Expro North Cormorant - Tern & Eider Tie-ins Project.
