This project is one of the largest civil engineering projects undertaken in the world. The concept is to take potable water from two aquifer fields in Tazerbo and Sarir, 1000km south of Ajdabiya, via a 4.3m diameter concrete pipeline from each to firstly a mixing reservoir in Ajdabiya, and from there by two separate lines, one to Benghazi and the other along the coastal plain to Sirte. Plan the detail design for the Mobil, 1989 Subsea Developments associated with the Beryl Field. Plan the conceptual and detail design for the B P Pipeline Safety Project covering all B P operated North Sea Platforms and Pipelines, plus all third party lines and platforms using B P facilities for transporting of oil and/or gas.
Plan the Engineering and Design for Strathspey Field acceptance on Ninian Central Platform. Liase closely with Senior Cost Engineer in the incorporation, on an on-going basis, of all ECN's/RFV's into the integrated Planning and Cost Control System. Supervise the planning for the closeout of Detail Engineering and Design for both Ninian Central & Southern Platforms. Liase fully with Procurement and Construction to ensure detail design plans met with Procurement/On-shore Fabrication/Construction deadlines.
Provide planning services covering CAPEX and OPEX modification work. Plans are based on cost centre budgets and include all phases of work from Engineering Design through to As-building and Job Close-out. This work covered all Kerr McGee assets in the UK sector.
Project Level Planning Engineer for offshore hook-up. Specific responsibilities for Statutory Permits and RoK Authority Approvals, Offshore Industrial Buildings, Procurement of Free Issue Material & Equipment and LLI’s. Link the detail plans and analysis from the contractors carrying out the detail planning into the Project Level Schedule and analyse the overall effect on the planned mechanical completions date to be linked to the EP Commisioning Schedule. Advise management of the impact of the analysis and recommend possible solutions to any plan deviation.
