Senior Planner – New Build & Construction – Middlesex
Senior Construction Planning Engineer is currently required by a leading main contractor to join their team based in Middlesex that are responsible for projects based in London & South East. The Senior Construction Planner will report directly into the regions Planning Manager and they will join a growing team of four other Planning Engineers that are responsible for producing competitive tenders for a wide variety of new build & construction projects that range in value of between £5-25m. The position will entail the Senior Construction Planner being predominantly responsible for tender planning but they will be required to visit live projects in the region when required.
Candidate
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity.
· Minimum of 5 years planning experience.
· Strong knowledge of construction techniques.
· Engineering qualification.
· Good working knowledge of Asta Powerproject.
· Previous experience of working within a Main Contractors Tendering office.
· Knowledge of Prelimaries, Design Management, Bid Management and Project Management is desirable but not essential.
On offer is a basic salary of between £45-55,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus a main contractors benefits package which comprises of a car or car allowance, pension, life assurance etc.
