I am using Primavera P6 rel 8.4 to exeperince some scinarios in constuction projects
after partial planning and trying to enter Actual units for cost/time control
I found the the resultant Actual cost very high?

Hi Guys,
I have done cost outflow in P6 and I have the outflow distributed as per the schedule. I would like to know whether there is a techninique to show cash in-flow in P6. I would like to create a cash flow statement. Please , share with me your experience/suggestions on the same.

I work on a number of projects that are so big I need to apply filters to them to print out obviously so I don't have to print the entire plan every time.
My Problem is, when I apply a filter to the plan e.g. remove task that are 100%, the baseline cost and budgeted total cost are reduced by the amount on the lines that are filtered out.
Is it possible to keep the top line costs on for the whole project even when a filter is applied?
A while back, I was working on a claim. Using P3, I superimposed the as built schedule onto the baseline schedule. Unfortunately, I can't remember how I did it. Any help? Also, does Suretrak have this function?

Hey all, I have searched and can't find this topic.
I currently have a global profile for planners who can see cost in their schedulers. I also have a global profile for planners who cannot see cost in their schedules (it's locked out for them).
The problem is that the planners who cannot see cost can still export an XER, import to another P6 instance, and now see the cost.
1. How can I lock out cost from being exported in an XER. (I assume I can't change this)

can you please help me to figure out why some subtitled activities were disappeared when i baselined the project or even when i want to save the project,they were missed
first,i maintain the the baseline
then i assign baseline
and some of my activities were diappeared in current project and also in baseline project.
