We are in the middle of the Project and have a change order having schedule impact. what is the procedure to reflect this change order in schedule? Do we add this CO in the original Baseline or in the current/latest schedule?

Hi all,
After having exported my schedule into excel I am having major difficulties re-importing back into P6 from excel.
The schedule is cost loaded, and when the schedule is imported back into P6 the following error is listed:
"ERROR: est_wt is null for TASK ActivityID: ......" for a range of my activities. Some of the activities are imported back in with costs, while others are not.
I cannot identify what the error is referring to. Does anyone have any ideas please ??

Dear Experts,
We have a program fully loaded with cost and manpower. The problem that we are facing right now is that lots of costs that were loaded to the program are not spreading to the entire duration of the activity.
Can anyone share his knowledge on resolving this issue?

When we revise links and add activities to our original baseline to make it revised baseline, how to copy the actual dates from the updated schedule to reflect on the new (re linked) schedule?
Re applying actuals one by one for hundreds of activities is a daunting task. There should be an alternative.

Please help me out in couple of queries
1) I have budgeted labour, budgeted non labour (equipment hrs) units for each activity in project. when i calculate progress based on budgeted units alone do i have to consider only labour units as this is direct or consider both and total them and then compare progress.(duration type is fixed units since it is units driven)
Contractor A has a large construction project in the middle of nowhere. The logistics route from the nearest available port to the workfront is >1,500km long and in poor condition, and will have to carry something like 200,000 tonnes of plant, equipment & material.
Contractor B is tasked with (among other things) upgrading this logistics route.
Both contractors will be working in parallel, and for the same client.

I have been asked to prepare a project scope documment and create plan and organise warehouse project for school purpose. i am a construction student at the moment. what do i need to think about to include when i start writting the scope and give me some examples on how to plan project fresh from client. so then i can move up and preapre a miscrosoft project activity schedule and explain in detail the tasks.
