Presenting critical path when planned completion is prior to contractual completion

B
Bo Johnsen 👤 Member for 20 years 4 months

If planned completion date of a project is prior to contractual completion date, how would you most correctly show the critical path throughout the project?

Say the contractual duration of a project is 24 months and you plan to complete the project in 21 months, i.e. 3 months before, and you show this in the submitted programme.

Necking of Bars and Print Preview

I am using P6 v7 and have suspended some activities.

I am trying to show the non work period on my layout, but when I chose bar necking it appears on my screen but as soon as I go to Print preview or print it’s gone.

I have checked my Timescale and Bars.

how I can solve this?

Project logging software for Project management tools

G
Gary Fen 👤 Member for 15 years 4 months

Hi,

I’m a software developer and I’ve just developed a range of time planning / logging software using a timeline as the visual interface.

When the software is used for Project management style planning, the timing plan can be structured into a number of easy to manage layers and data, such as reports, meeting minutes, text, images, video clip etc can be save directly back to the plan.

Gantt Chart Activity

A
Ammar Abbas 👤 Member for 15 years 4 months

I am a beginner at primavera, i need to know how one can change gantt chart to show one day activity occupying the whole duration, like in this example activity starts somewhere mind sunday and ends in mid Thursday, where as I want it to start from the end of Saturday (start of Sunday) and continue till the end of Thursday, so that it occupies 5 days instead of 4.25 days approximately.

hope i m making it clear for you.
