what is top down estimation and how can we use that in primavera, am new for that topic pls tell me sir
Changing the data date shouldn’t practically push back project milestones.
How do you justify that considering the fact that it pushes back not started activities the same period of data date?

I recently built a schedule in P6 that had an must end by date of July 23, 2012.
Shortly there after, additional work and time was added to the project.
How can I add the 6 extra weeks to my schedule? I need to move the must end by date out by an additional 6 weeks.

There are 4 milestones in a project(P6 R8). One finishes after the other but are not linked to each other. How do you calculate the float for each milestones. Usually the float is being calculated from the last milestone of the project.
Hello guys, I am currently working on a petrochemical project, and my previous orientation is from High Rise Civil Construction Planning, I was a Commissioning Engineer before in a power plant but I think that will not help me much to plan for a project on a similar nature.
So this comes down to my predicament of having to check the accuracy of the durations that I have on the Schedule which I finalized alongside our construction team, but based on their estimation only, So I was hoping there is a standard or a rule of thumb for this estimation for Man-Hour budgeting for materials a
