I am working in civil projects and my Project Manager is always telling me that "Why Overall Programme Progress % and BQ % progress(calculated by QS) does not match.
Anyone advise or solution to this scenario to link the BQ claim and overall progress claim, sot that when QS calculate 20% progress claim and program also is 20%.

Is it possible to deactivate temporarily a relationship in Primavera P6 ? let explain :
I have 3 projects P1, P2 and P3. The activities of P1 and P2 are the predecessors of P3. I'd like to know the impact of P1 alone to compare it with the impact of P1+P2. So, I'd like to deactivate temporarily the relationships between P2 and P3.
Is the only way to copy P3 and delete the relationships with P2 ?

How do we generate completion percentage against a data date in P6 & progress curves for the data date
Hello All, I have a query which has been bothering me:
I'm not sure what the correct way to deal with remaining durations is. I use Primarvera P6.
eg.
Activity - Excavating Trench.
Does anyone know where I can find a list of "Best Practices" for updating a schedule. I am currently working with a project manager who is insisting to let physical progress determine the remaining duration of the scheduled activities. No sooner did he tell me this, the first activitiy to update was a 20 day activity in which the engineer completed 80% in two days, but wanted the remaining 18 days to finish it. However based on the project managers belief he should only need 4 days to finish.

I was established Spending plan for a project in Primavera P6 ,and while doing so I have come across the "Benifit Plan" column in "Spending Plan" tab.I have tried to seach about this but have not yet cleard my concept.can anyone please tell me that what is the purpose of "Benifit Plan" column?

I am having trouble when I reschedule my programme.
My calendars (both work and resource) are set to 10hr days start 7am - finish 5pm.
When I reschedule my data date to be 26-Nov 00:00 - the activities starting on the 26th show as starting at 7:01 - and not 7:00. This in turn is pushing all my activities starting on 26th out by one date ie.
