Hello all,
I have successfully imported data to P6 via XL. I have some rather long "Activity Names" that refuse to wrap inside the field.
I have tried ALL "Table Row & Font" settings to no avail.
IF I copy the text into MS Word, then paste it back into the field it will wrap!
Thoughts?
Hi there.
We submitted a baseline at the start of the project that was approved and had been following the same for some time. Then we revised the baseline by changing the construction methodology to change the sequence of activities and also the duration of some activities keeping the Project Finish Date same as in the original baseline. Now we need to submit an EOT claim, I want to ask you that should we prepare out EOT based on the original baseline or the revised baseline?

I have started with P6 few months ago.
My issue is:
Tracking progress on status tab: task Fixed Duration and Units, % complete type Physical. I chek the started, then Remaining days and % Physical based on actual and remaining days. If the task is delayed all resources updated however the actuals only updated accordingly the original duration. Why? How can I fix this?

Is it possible to show a custom line on Gantt Diagram showing the difference between Finish Date and BL Finish Date?
In Line Filter I only can compare one of them to specific numeric value and I need to compare them against each other and paint the difference in red color.
For Example my current situation
And what I want to show
I only able to draw all line in red, but I want only part of it being red.
Team, I have a usser that has been locked out of P6 17.8 it is a STANDALONE VERSION and there are issues trying to log back in has anyone had this issue or encountered this before and if so what is the fix to clear the session????

So I recently faced this problem while working with two projects opened at the same time. How can I close only one project if multiple projects are open? I usually use the Ctrl+W shortcut which closes all project. Please share your experience?

Hi Everyone,
I am having trouble importing this xml file (from MSP), there are Zero resources, costs, expenses or anything else, just activities, duration, manhours and some text in msp activity text field text10.
The import fails on my companies server P6 but won't allow me to view the error log!
Would a member please try and import and then export as an xer for me? Hmmmmm, how do I attache the xml file here?
