Lost standard column - Planned labour units

hi,

i have just joined a new company and cannot find a "planned labour units" column.

I think someone has re named it - 

I have been given admin rights ( worrying i know) but cannot find where the i will find the original column names are held to determine which ones have been re named.

 

I am sure it has been done inside the database as it is not the only one as all the UDF ones have been renamed also. when i click to look at UDFs the only names i see are the new ones - not what they were - 

 

any help would be grateful

Leveling in Primavera P6 is taking too much time

Dear all,

I have an issue with my primavera schedule, when I use the leveling option it takes too much time (like 10 Minutes) which is real problem since every time I make a change I need to level to see the impact.

Making an activity happen lonesome (no other activity should occur during this activity)

Hello,

 

I am new to Planning Planet and usually i have a couple of people I consult to when it comes to P6 questions but they have never dealth with this issue before and if they have, they have done it in a manipulative way.

Percent Complete Changed when Baseline is inserted

I am receiving an xer for the schedule update from the Contractor. The percent complete used for progress is the Cost Percent Complete. However, when I inserted the baseline into the schedule, the values on the Cost Percent Complete changes. When i removed the baseline, the Cost Percent Complete return to its original values. Does anyone knows the reason behind this? Thanks

Actual Finish Dates On Team Member

Without going into the background, when using Team Member, our Task Owners often need to update their tasks on a Wednesday and they need to mark a task as finished and give it an actual finish date of Thursday or Friday, one or two days in the future. However, the software will not let the Task Owner enter a date beyond the current date. The future dates are grayed out.

How to Password Protect .XER file??

Firstly, yes I searched for my question/answer and found nothing useful. 

 

I'm working with... an "interesting" client to say the least. PDF prints of my schedule are not sufficient, and they require the .xer file that I am working with. I absolutely DO NOT want them to be able to modify any of the content without prior written consent (this has been an ongoing issue - can you tell??) 

How do I password protect an exported .xer file so that whoever opens it on their machine cannot modify it in any way?

Activity cost as a percentage of the Project Budget Cost

Hi guys, I would like to express an activity cost as a percentage of the project budget cost. For example 

Project A - Total Cost is $5000

Project A has numerous activities and I would like a Column that expresses the Cost of the Activities as a percentage of Project A total cost. 

For example if Activity 1 within Project A has a total budget cost of say 1000. I would like a column that shows Cost % Budge of Activity 1 as 20%. 

I tried using the column "Cost % of Budget" and it was only giving me Zero % ages for every activity.
