Multiple contract milestones

A
Alan Taylor 👤 Member for 8 years 10 months

The contract contains multiple unit completion penalty milestones which are waived if the final completion milestone is achieved. The project is in serious delay. The contractor has submitted an EOT claim (TIA and owner delay events only) that is focused on delay to final completion milestone and ignores all the intermediate penalty milestones. In my opinion all penalty milestones should be included in the analysis - any comments please.

Benefits for Selecting Appropriate Delay Analysis Techniques

Hi All,

Can anyone provide me some benefits or better outcome for the performance of the project if an appropriate delay analysis technique is selected for certain types of building construction? I need your help on this matter for my thesis.

Time Impact Analysis in Complex and Mega-Scale Project Programmes

A
ANIL IPEKCI 👤 Member for 12 years 3 months

Hi All,

In a detailed contractual programme where we have around 40,000 No. of activities with proper weekly updates and around 600 Engineer's Instructions / Site Instructions;

If the programme logic is not altered after a point and it is not reflecting the actual site conditions due to changes/instructions not being reflected into the programme, what is the best way to put an EOT Claim while we reach to the end of the project?

Schedule Analytics Software Research

C
Cesar Ramos 👤 Member for 9 years 8 months

Hey All,

I've worked with various Schedule Analytics tools in the past but I feel that some functionality and capabilities are missing.  I'm on a Schedule Analytics Software Research mission to find [or develop] a good Scheduling Analytics Software.

So I'm researching for two things:

#1) Is there a good software out there that you all use? [to save some responses; I've used P6 layouts/global changes, Oracle Risk, Schedule Analyzer, XER Tool Kit, Deltek Acumen, Excel, Access, & a few others]

Contractor to provide a critical path (as-built versus as-planned) schedule analysis

  • Contractor to provide a critical path (as-built versus as-planned) schedule analysis for the Work assigned to Contractor which takes into account concurrent delays and the delays caused by Contractor.

As a contractor we submitted Global Claim at end of project (Civil+MEP) , As per above statement from Client I feel it's confusing they asking Two Schedule Analysis method together , critical path schedule analysis at this end of project is not possible b

Forensic delay analysis with an automated simulation engine.

Dear all,

I know that many Planning Planet users have previously expressed an interest in Delaymaster, our start-up software tool designed to perform forensic delay analysis computations and calculate extension of time entitlement at the touch of a button. For those of you with an interest in the theory behind the software, I have drafted a "white paper" that discusses some key aspects of this.

Go to www.pezala.com/Software.html and where it says "Download white paper on Delaymaster."

All comment is welcomed.

Kind regards

Anders Axelson
