EOT for additional work; Instruction issued after original project completion date

I have some problem regarding the EOT; I hope somebody shall help me to overcome on this situation.

The Contractor submitted his EOT Claim; alleged delays are seven but the additional work instructed by the Engineer after original completion of project is prominent delay; as stated by the Contractor.

The situation as fellow

1- Project Duration is 9 months (1-Jan-2013 to 30-Sep-2013).

2- Employer's delay occurred in month of May-2013 and due to the event; the impacted project completion date is 20-Dec-2013.

1 Baseline 6 Revisions - TIA

Hi Everyone,

I am working for a contractor who is 2 years over a 2 year duration project. Only one programme has been approved by the Owner, however none other of the 6 further subsequent revisions which reflect the alterations site have been approved.

This may be going to arbitration and a TIA will be used; works have been completed.

The final revision contains much more details and additional activities than the baseline, therefore the as-built won't match.

Float-suppression techniques

Good morning

I'm new in this forum so, first of all, I want to thank you anyone who will loose a little bit of its time to reply.

I'm actually working for a structural steel company and I'm experincing trouble in reaching an Approved baseline programme.

In particular I've the following issue, which I try to summarise:

The project is composed by several sub-site, almost indipendent one for the other (say building A, B, C, D).

All building are similar to each other.

As bulit but for

T

Can I confirm if this is collapse as built ?

I also heard there's a forward path and backward path method ? But from my understanding collapse as built is a backward method . So is as built but for a term used for forward path method.

Is this method used to determine causation or quantum ?

Is it use to determine claims in tort only and not contract ?

The right way to update as a sub contractor

J
Jimmy Xie 👤 Member for 12 years 5 months

Dear All

I have one question here. we as a sub contrauctor, using a whole program along with main contractor and other sub contractors (Baseline issued to us is the program issued by Engineer for the whole project including main contractor and all sub contractor's activity)

When we update the program, we will update our activities but we can't get the right expected completion date of project because we can not update other contractor's activities which link to and will drive our activities (in critical path).

So, my questions will be:
