As Cost Control Manager, I was responsible for establishing an estimate for the entire project, coordinate payments within the JV partners via a participative loan scheme, and all aspects of cost control. Due to continuous cost control, realistic risk analysis, and in-depth claims management, cost predictions and estimates performed prior to award of major contracts were sufficient for the project to finish on time and within budget.
Specific duties included:
Cost Control, Budget Planning, Invoice Control, and Cost reporting to General Director and Partners.
Control and measurement of economic progress of major contractors (EPIC) and contract closure.
Contract quantities measurements and cost reporting.
Import and Export of company provided material and calculation of customs tariffs.
Invoice approval process, including followup payment via accounting.
Alignment of budget with invoiced costs, forecast cost, and accounting GL codes.
Contractual compliance and claims review.
