Cost Forecasting

As Cost Control Manager, I was responsible for establishing an estimate for the entire project, coordinate payments within the JV partners via a participative loan scheme, and all aspects of cost control.  Due to continuous cost control, realistic risk analysis, and in-depth claims management, cost predictions and estimates performed prior to award of major contracts were sufficient for the project to finish on time and within budget. 

Specific duties included:

Have worked as a Project Controls Engineer for around 8 years now and have worked on various sites such as Chemtura, AstraZeneca, Essar Oil & Sellafield. My expertise lies in the cost side of Project Controls.

Preparation of valuations, cost analysis for Project Monthly Report to Branch, co-ordination of procedures for monthly cost review and forecasting, maintain Project work breakdown structure and implement within the cost management and forecasting system, preparation of monthly progress claim, assist administration of subcontracts, cash-flow forecasts.

Project Controls Engineer, progress monitoring, construction scheduling assistance, contract administration.

Preparation of Project Monthly Reports, Cost Estimates and Forecasts, Cash-flow forecasts, progress payment/variation analysis, accurate allocation and maintenance of costs for company asset register, liaison with construction contractors, vendors and other project department groups, contract administration.
