As responsible Construction Planner, contributed towards the construction of Dubai’s first fully automated Urban Railway Network ‘Metro System’; Dubai Metro Rail Project “Phase II Green Line”, Client- Road & Transport Authority (RTA). Main duties were-
· Framed out the work breakdown structure from work scope; identified detailed activities, defined chronological work sequences and interdependencies between activities as per drawings, estimate work duration and manpower resources for developing BL Schedule
· Accountable for development of costs and resources loaded detailed project ‘baseline schedule’ in Primavera (P3.1) for UG Segment.
· Prepared the Coordinated Work Schedule (Civil-Architectural-E&M); handed over the underground stations to MEP’s and Track Works Contractor (Mitsubishi Heavy Industry) to commence pre-commissioning works as planned.
· Work Contract Schedule prepared using Primavera for various major specialized sub contracting works; responsible for evaluating subcontractor’s work performance and escalated the key ‘areas of concern’ to the JV Management for discussion.
· Consulted with Station Managers to prepare and monitor the timeframe of detailed (Level 4) Station Construction Schedule, Enabling Works Plan of Works of each Underground Stations in line with the baseline schedule target dates/agreed forecast dates.
· Accountable for accurate and transparent KPI Reporting to the Engineer (Systra-Parsons), developed KPI dashboards for major work items (D-wall panel casting, Station box excavation, Strut layer fixing and Slab casting/pouring), monitored physical progress of work at sites and generated various periodic progress reports for JV Management and Engineers (bi-weekly and tri-weekly basis)
· Acted as single point of contact to manage the project coordination for delivery of major building resources (RMC, Reinforcement & Coupler and Strutting materials) at project sites, introduced resource rolling schedule in project, credited for implementing a robust resource delivery tracking system to streamline the supply chain mechanism in association with external agencies engaged in project.
· As resource planner, prepared resource cost budget, established resource control and resource utilization reporting system in close coordination with all Green Line Station Managers to improvise productivity, efficiency and cost reduction.
