Firstly you have to check your posibility to be at least short listed in the high number of aplicants and afterwards think about the accepting the job offer (if you have one)
If you have two job offers that is currently open, then if is only you to decide. As there are two different countries with a lot of different approaches to absolutely everything.
if you do not have job offers, you can try applying to some of the openings in the market. Obviously both of them will require work permit to work. Canada is even more structured and strictly procedure oriented in documents than UK. Of cource if this is not expat job, where they can do all of the documentation by themselves.
Apply on same number of jobs from both countries and see on how many responces you receive and from whom. This will help you to have a better idea about where you can possible move.
I personally would choose Canada, as even afterwards you can receive the possibility to stay there forever and move theree completely with family.
In terms with UK you can work there, but you will not receive a permanenet residence after.
