Estimate to Complete (ETC) values are not changing when I'm changing its calculation criteria under the WBS Earned Value settings.
Following are the settings of my programme in P6
1) Duration type: Fixed duration and units
2) Percent complete type: Physical
3) Cost is assigned via labour resource.
Please help.

Settings under Project View->Calculations->Resource Assignments are as follows:
When updating actual units or cost -> subtract actual from at completion
"Recalculate actual units and costs when duration % complete changes" and "Link actual and actual this period units and cost" are ticked off.
"Update units when costs change on resource assignments" is not ticked off
If you report Physical percent complete, then what mechanism are you using to reduce the remaining manhours/cost?
How are you recording Actual Manhours/Cost?
Do you have any "Auto Compute" flags set at the Activity or Resource assignment level?
How are you determining remaining duration AKA Duration % compete?
What are the settings in the "Resource Assigments" half of the "Calculations" Tab in the Project Details form?
The actual cost for each activity may be still zero. So the ETC will remains the Budgeted Cost. Or in the WBS, change the setting as ETC=BAC-EV, PF=1.
