How to calculate expected finish date in MS Project ?

How to calculate automatically the expected completion date when the actual finish date is different from baseline finish ?

Karthik abi,

 

If you have linked your tasks, MSP will complete this by operating a Forwards Pass. and the final task will automatically finish on the calculated Expected Completion Date. Be sure to Auto-Schedule your tasks to achieve this.

You can check the scheduling method used on your project in the "Status" column:

You can check that the Forwards Pass is going to work correctly by checking the links in the "Precedessors" Column.
