Haveint used Asta yet. In Middle East the first one / Mostly it is Primavera and the next one is MSP. But its really good to hear all this logic. Probably would study Asta too.
Thanks Gary. It Worked out well. I was trying to do many things in timescale and it didnt work. At last as you said i went to the time scale checked marked the Show Original Dates and then in Original start i used the custom date to select the day when the project is awarded.
And in Original Date Interval i selected weeks.

In Asta PowerProject I just click on the date that I want to be Week 0 and the + / - numbers just fall into place.

Click "Show Ordinal Dates"
Ordinal Start = Award date
Ordinal Date interval = weeks
Click Apply
