XER to SDEF Conversion utility for P6

Does anyone know where I can download the following conversion utility file "XERP330Convert.exe"?  I need this for a COE job.  I have gone to the COE RMS webiste and searched elsewhere, but have only found SDEF conversion files for P3.

The Primavera PDF/manual for SDEF conversion states specifically that this executable file is needed to convert from a P6 XER file to an SDEF file.  The PDF says that:

"Using Primavera’s import/export capability, you can then convert an XER file to a P3 3.x project or an SDEF data file, and vice versa."

I see no place under export that aloows me to export to an SDEF file, so I assume that I need to find the "XERP330Convert.exe" file for use.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I have provided the links below

Options #1

for the converter see below

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rozu5v1zpp4z264/AABWdCf6mwQxlk9C1MWvOR3Za?dl…

1. Launch XERP330Convert.exe (found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Primavera Common\Convert) and choose conversion type as 'SDEF'.

2. Browse to the location of the exported XER file. Browse to a location to create the SDEF and give it a file name.  NOTE: The file will have a .txt file extension.  Click: OK, then Finish.

To import a SDEF file into Project Management:

1. Launch P330XERConvert.exe (found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Primavera Common\Convert) and choose conversion type of SDEF.

2. Browse to the location of the SDEF file. Browse to a location to create the XER file and give it a file name.  NOTE: The file will have an .XER extension. Click: OK, then Finish.

3. In Project Management, click: File, Import, XER. Follow the wizard to import the file to create or update a project.

Option #2

However you do not need the converter if you have p3 files in their native format (not compressed) see link below wiht instructions

ressurecting a zombie thread perhaps but we are trying this at work and are having a problem with it

it will not offer the option to convert P3-P6 on my PC and I suspect that the reason is the same as for the main import option; it requires P3 installed (or at least Btrieve) to operate

On a test PC we set up with both packages (P3/P6) on the tool operates as advertised

Does anyone know of a way to get this working without P3 installed? My IT dept won't install P3 on our 64bit systems so we're having to set up a separate PC, with an older 32bit OS, just to import old schedules

I think this was downloaded as a default when installed, but below is where my file is located, and it is an unusual place.  It looks like it is converting to P3, but when clicked, gives you choice convert to P3 or to SDEF...

For manual search for SDEF.pdf, it tells how this works...

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Primavera Common\Convert\XERP330Convert.exe
