Scurve creation in excel

Hi Everyone

I have been given a template to create an S-curve Report.

I have the project data but im unsure how to massage this into the scurve report to get the desired result.

If there are any gurus out there willing to take a look please let me know.

Hello Shahnawaz,

 

Go to Assignments Page ,use filter resource type equals labor ,right click to right side then go the spreedsheet fields and click customize. Select Budgeted units and Actual Units.

Select required data then copy and paste to excel.

From excel click insert tab and click charts to generate your S-Curve. (Generally i use columns chart for budgeted and actual units and line chart for cumulative units)

Then modify it accordingly.

Hai Nick, 

Depends on what basis u want to plot s curve based on Duration, weightage, cost or resource, ..after doing this export from the software to spreadsheet, plot the s curve % against Time.
