Earned Labor Units

Hi Everyone,

 

Can anybody advise on how to disconnect the duration from the labor units. This is possible in P3 (in options) , how ever in P6 once you change the remaining duration the earned labor units automatically changed. I dont need to change the remaining units as this will affect the S curve. Only the duration is changed not the remaining labor remains the same.

 

Any idea please.

I already tried this changes,only thing is I need also to update the % complete units in order to determine the current earned units.But then if you change the % complete unitis the duration also automatically changes. I am not sure if there is any equivalent option in P6 like in P3.

Hi Henry,

Would changing the duration type solve this? If you were to change it to something like fixed duration and units, this would keep the units the same, you can change the duration yourself, and only the units/time would change.
