Hi All,
Recently I've created 3rd revised baseline programme for our company. But when I assign our new baseline programme, I've noticed that some of the lates dates are earlier than the early dates. Is it really possible to happen?
Thanks & Regards,
Darwin
Hi Darwin
Negative float is usually caused by a Must End On constraint.

You're right Mr. Daniel. Some of my total floats are negative already. I check out some links and construction procedures to be able to lessen all the negative floats. Thanks a lot.

Darwin,
You need to check further and investigate a little bit more. Late Dates are supposed to be the latest dates you can delay an activity without delaying some key dates and/or the overall completion date. In other words, previously you had floats on these activities, now you are saying that 'Late Dates' are earlier than the 'Early Dates', the only logical explanation to this anomalies is that you now have a negative float on some of these activities that is why you have this case. Check 'total float', if you have negative floats then late dates will be earlier than the early dates
Best regards,
Daniel
