Dear Martyn,
1) A good start for reading is your projects contract documents:
- COC (Contractual Milestones dates)
- Specs (Days for approval of submittals)
- Drawings (Physical structure of the project, WBS,)
- BOQ (qtys for verification of durations, required resources, CSI coding and cost loading)
2) Reference books on standard production rates
3) Ron Winters website has a lot of good info on baseline verifications).
4) AACEI docs
5) PEO docs
6) Search PP for relevant topics that you might need
On checking delays, you can do the following:
- Delay Analysis - compare Baseline vs. Current
- Periodic Slippage Analysis - compare Current vs. Previous Update
Hope the above helps.
Best regards,
R. Catalan
Dear M,
There are a lot of good references in the aacei guides. You will have plenty to ready.
Have a great day.
With kind regards,
Samer
