MSP only show date under default setting.

from "Tools" menu click "Options" click "View" tab, under "Date format" choose a format showing date and time.

then you can input date and time in the start/finish column.

this will add start no earlier/finish no earlier constraint.

actually you can directly input e.g. "6/25/06 9:00 am" in start/finish field (or advanced tab )to add constraint

more details is requiered, is it a contractual start or not? if it is not in the contract the consultant (or any reviewer) will reject the constrained schedule, the logic must flow.

Anyway, i’ll assume that it is a contractuall constraint, may be the owner will furnish certain planet to the project, Also, the I’ll assume that you know the constraints type, and you need the Must Start On type specifically.

1) double click the activity,

2) click the Advanced tab

3) from the constraint type drop-box select must start on

4) specify date.

click ok

enjoy
