OP 2.6 could save data directly into MS Access. You need an Access file populated with the relevant tables (from here: http://support.welcom.com/supportnet/tempdlfiles/OPP26_Access_2000.zip ) and an ODBC datasource pointing to the Access file. Once you have this use the File; Connect... option in OP 2.6 to connect to the database and restore your project (make sure you choose the ODBC data source in the file type when you restore each project file (Project, Calendar, Codes etc.). Be aware that the table structure is very different between OP 2.6 and 3.1 so dont do any development if you plan on upgrading to 3.1 in the near future.
OP 3.1b SP1 is available for download from SupportNet. This includes some updates to the standard OP 3.1 MS Project Import/Export feature (File; Import/Export; MS Project). This mechanism exports as much OP data as possible - which can sometimes confuse MS Project where feature support is different. If your need is to export OP projects to MS Project for reporting/contractual purposes then you could try the MSPRIF export (available by calling Welcom support) which modifies the exported data to coerce MS Project to display the exact same dates as Open Plan

oh...I didnt realise that 2.6 was still out there - mind you Im not sure if going to 3.1 is actually an upgrade or not!!!
Anyway, 2.6 still has the transfer.dat functionality - so you can try that.

you can utilise either Cross Table Export, or write your own scripts in transfer.dat
Once it is set up correctly, your users will just need to run the export script.
Look at both the users guide and the developers guide for info on Exporting.

OPP 3.1 stores data in MS ACCESS by default. The structure of data tables is described in developers guide. Maybe this can help...
