Project Controls (Primavera)

Bp Hull Saltend, Contract shutdown planner. Reporting to the shutdown manager and Bp shutdown team leader. Responsible for the planning and execution of the Acetyls plant 4yr shutdown along side the Lead Engineer. Using Primavera P3 software as the main planning tool to manage estimated work packs by electronic data transfer from a bespoke web-based shutdown estimation package. Developing constructability programmes for plant areas along with resource graphs and ‘S’ curves.

Contract Planning Engineer for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCCM) contract on behalf of Green Energy Technology (GET). The project is to generate electricity by converting segregated solid municipal waste into Syngas through plasma gasification and is to be constructed in Sri Lanka in 2010. Using Primavera P3 for both planning and progress monitoring against a resourced target plan, reporting earned value for individual disciplines against a fully developed work breakdown structure.

Working as planning Engineer using P6 and working in EMCO with one month  experinece

       I, Umenwnnne Chidulue is a graduate of civil engineering from the Nnamdi Uzikiwe university Awka, Anambra state where i obtained my B.Eng . Currently am working in a civil /construction company in Lagos,Nigeria as one of their site engineers.I am also good in softwares like Auto Cad 2D & 3D, Primavera p3 & p6. I have other work experiences  before joining the construction industry, like shipping and freight forwarding,  i am good in softwares like excel, Ms word,  Powerpoint.

i) Updating the L2 Network programme with the help of Project management software’s (MS Project and Primavera project planner)

ii) Follow up the release of drawings and site possession as per the programme.

iii) Planning, assigning and monitoring the resources.

Job Description:

·         In charge in the preparation of shutdown planning for BAROD, ROD AND BAR, SECTION AND BAR Maintenance Operation and activities.

·         Maintaining database, records and drawing for reference.-SAP

Address monthly technical reports, manpower resources, to the supervisor and Superintendents for the update of spare and manpower schedules, work request and notifications

Providing planning services in FEED and Open Book Tender phases to JKC (JGC-KBR-Chiyoda) JV for 200kt (PAR/PAU) modules fabrication group on INPEX Browse Ichthys Field Block WA-285-P R1 development off N.W. Australia: Onshore LNG Plant (Blaydin Point, Darwin) with two + two future (APCI) trains.

•  AX-327 Project (Air Port Expansion Phase III , Signage and way finding for Terminal 3, Concourse 2 and Car Park).

Works as Planning Engineer (PM-CM and supervising consultant) for the Hamad Medical City Project in Doha, Qatar. Responsible for overseeing and providing planning advice with regard to critical schedule milestones on one of Qatar’s most prestigious projects. Generating milestones in the pre-construction stage for inclusion in tender documents via detailed discussions with the Design Manager, Design Team, and other participants. Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows and the consolidation of these results in weekly reports.
