Areas of Responsibility: To set up a full Planning system within the organisation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Analysis of current planning systems and practices.
• Implementation of new planning software Primavera P6.
• Documenting full procedures on requirements of planning across the business.

Strategic weekly / monthly forecasting for man-hour requirements across multiple disciplines and projected completion revenue costs and other management reporting.

International Broadcast Centre and Media Hub Enabling Works (£2.5m)

Contract Planner for design and construct contract under NEC 3 ECC Contract Conditions. Works located within 2012 Olympic Park to provide enabling works for the construction of the international broadcast studios and press offices.

Job Scope

• Functionally reporting to the assigned Project Managers and administratively reporting to the Planning Manager.
• Responsible to provide overall status of all assigned projects i.e. to prepare, development and maintain project summary schedu

• Pre-Contract Implementation.Preparation for the appointment of consultants, contractors and any specialist consultants for the projects; includes the preparation of Tender Committee Papers and the preparation of the Letter of Awards (LOA).

Involved in the tender evaluation process and report preparation for the Technical and Commercial Evaluation Report to be presented to the Tender Committee for award of contract, as well as in the preparation of Tender Committee Papers for the presentation to the Committee.

Project Planner

Responsible for 16 EPC Energy Power Plants projects, planning and scheduling activities in compliance with Company rules/proceduresand client's guidelines.

My duties involved:

• Project Manager for the Technology & Engineering Development Facility, a $73.2 million project which will provide over 100,000 square feet of new office, technical and laboratory space and renovate  approximately 90,000 square feet of existing technical, office and laboratory space.
• Manage the planning and design including interfacing with over 30 different user groups to understand and incorporate needs.
• Manage the overall construction of the project.

Overall project plann/scheduling recovery. Project reporting implementation, WBS and activity coding definition, Schedule ressource loading and Team leading with frequent stays at job site.

Employed by the Rhead Group and contracted to National Grid working as a Planner on the client side of the contract. Main duties involve interrogation of sub-contract programmes and ensuring that timescales and budgets are met, as well as supporting the commercial and site teams to ensure appropriate management of a large programme of works.
