Project Controls Manager:
1. Head, lead and manage a team of project controls and planners worked on site.
2. Reporting directly to Managing director, unit’s director and project controls director.
3. Assess, hire project controls and set the staff schedule.
Started as an Assistant Planner and did most of my training in house, shadowing other planners.
I attended various courses that were external to the company, Primavera, NEC3, Introduction to APM.
I was promoted to Planner in May 2014 and was assigned to the project I am still currently working on. The company introduced EVM 2years ago so I have had the challenge of learning this and also teaching the engineering team, that i work for, the principles of EVM.
Project Controls Manager:
Master schedule update and analysis. T&C schedule updating.
Managed and coordinate subcontractors and other parties involve in the site with regards to completion datelines, resource planning and technical requirements.
Managed planning documentations, systems and procedures including method statements.
Monitor construction schedule execution on site and records completion of activities and milestones.
