I have joined as a Senior planner and then progressed into Project Claims manager and Project Controls manager. I have had an opportunity to work on complex EOT claims using various delay analysis methodologies and guided quantification of claims for a refinery project.

Providing project and programme management services, expert witness services, due diligence reviews and programme management services for built environment schemes based out of London:

Dispute resolution - Led and completed submissions to expert witness standard for two major disputes. Commission required working closely with client and solicitors in resolving disputes. Schemes were resolved without the need for further proceedings.

Dispute avoidance: led commissions to successfully avoid disputes on large residential and commercial schemes for a contractor in central London.

Performing Planning, schedulling & Controlling roles at Mall of the Emirates Expansion & CAPEX Projects.

·         Assured Contractor’s programme after contract awarded based on planning principles, Transmission Procedure 193, mandatory milestones, outages, links, budgeted cost and WBS mapping.

·         Ensured Contractor’s programmes are fit for NEC3 type of contract – Option A –E.

My responsibilities in this project include preparation of baseline program based on BOQ, Design Drawings and Specifications. Update of project schedule, monitoring of project progress at site, attend risk and progress meetings, preparation of project weekly & monthly reports, attend lessons learned meetings, manage subcontractor schedule and schedule updates, preparation of extension of time claims and participate in technical meeting, prepare and update issue logs. Generate acceleration schedule to mitigate delay and slippages.

·        Preparation of a comprehensive cost and resource loaded contract baseline time schedule for the Aprons, Taxiways, Load Centers, Airside Storm water network (Pipe and box culverts), Blue Water Network, Airfield Ground Lighting network and the associated Vault Rooms, Glycol Network, 400Hz Network, Fuel Hydrant Network from the Fuel Farm, Fuel supply network from Aramco depot, GSE Tunnel/Ramps and security checkpoints, by reading the design drawings (70%).

t was clear from the offset that a different strategy would need to be developed in Saudi Arabia to bring 21 Projects in align with Western Standards and getting the Project online. After screening all the Schedules I was able to identify 10 Disciplines that almost all the Schedules were missing and develop a scoring mechanism to score each Schedule.

Invited to work on Crossrail as a Consultant, I was asked to perform the task in integrating Design, Procurement & MEP Fit Out. These items were still at tendering logic and it was recognised that this logic no longer demonstrated the true critical path.
