Delay Analysis

Lead the planning, development and coordination of project schedule for EPC US$ 615 million, 280 MW hydroelectric project involving construction of an asphalt faced rockfill dam, 15 km long headrace tunnel, 15 km long transfer tunnel, penstock, surge tank and powerhouse.

Track delay issues, analyze data and provide weekly & monthly reports to key stakeholders and the client.

Prepare delay claims and support preparation of claims by creating delay fragnets.

Project controls professional in:

1) planning & scheduling (develop baseline schedule, perform schedule updates, review baseline schedule, review schedule updates, perform critical path analysis);

2) Delay Analysis (Perform Delay Analysis and Review Delay Analysis)

• Assists Project Management in all aspects of contract administration and Claims
• Advises on contract interpretation including analyzing client’s specifications and drawings
• Reviews advises and drafts letters on contractual correspondence
• Ensuring the proper preparation and documentation of all information recording events as background to future claims.
• Attends meeting with clients and participates in all contractual aspects of projects, including claims, final accounts, variations and contract interpretation.

• Develop and execute Construction Claims Service strategies, processes and procedures, as necessitated.
• Conducts necessary research and acquires supporting documentation to substantiate claims to clients or major subcontractors.
• Lead a team in the analysis or preparation of a complex construction claims, being responsible for the deliverable to the client, whether it be a report, presentation or expert testimony.

• Develops strategic turnaround plans and maintains the 5 year projected turnaround

·         Reviews Contractor’s planning and progress report submittals, prepares letters to the Contractor and addresses accuracy and quality of the submissions. 

·         Reviews multiple Contractors’ schedules on the Programme to identify planning coordination issues and any adverse impact on Baseline Schedules, providing advice on efficient work activity sequencing and resequencing. 

·         Prepare and maintain complex construction, engineering and procurement schedules for projects.

·         Review and incorporate subcontractor schedules into the Master Schedule.

·         Provide recommendations for corrective action due to delays in certain aspects of the project.

·         Develop schedules in Primavera for projects during all stages of the project.
