When I left High School I studied a National Diploma in Construction Studies at Wigan College. A year into my course I managed to get an apprenticeship at William Hare Ltd. Whilst working at Hare's I changed courses from a National Diploma in Construction studies (Wigan College) to a National Certifcate in Construction Studies (Bolton College) of which I completed the 2nd year in May 2008.

My role requires me to coordinate & supervise the Non Destructive Testing on the job we are currently working on. As the majority of the job is class one welding a lot of NDT is required. I run all the welding/ndt QA registers & procedures, regularly updating them. I ensure appropriate operatives have approved all relevant certification and procedures as well as providing latest drawings. I also provide full site inductions to the operatives and ensure they fully understands the latest RAMS.
