Leading main contractor in London working on a major £300 million civils framework is looking to recruit a planner or senior planner on a permanent basis to undertake a mix of tender and site based planning as part of a large team, coupled with client liaison reporting direct to the client, presenting, and offering management support to junior members within the framework team. This project has already begun and is likely to go on for a further 3 years. Due to a high workload, my client is looking for someone who is keen to grow and progress with the business, top candidates will be given the opportunity to also assist and oversee other major projects within the civils and utilities markets.
Candidate specification:
· Minimum 5 years planning experience in a UK main contracting environment
· Civils experience essential and utilities would be beneficial also
· A strong working knowledge or Primavera P6
· Tender and site and programming experience essential
· Ideally all applicants will hold tunnelling and cable experience
· Major project exposure is desired but not essential
· Applicants should live within a reasonable commute of central London
· Candidates will be highly motivated and looking to progress within a business
· A full UK work permit and visa or British Passport is essential for this role, no sponsorship is being offered so applicants who do not adhere to the above please do not apply as this is an urgent position
