Part of Shell’s Global Projects Organisation seconded to Shell Gabon’s Toucan and Koula projects.  Cost Management Focal Point in Project Management team on >US$ 0.6 billion fast-track appraisal and phased development projects (40 wells, FEED, EPFs and EPCs).  Developed robust controls framework for EPC phases, reinforcing the risk management process across a multi-venture environment.  Implemented and enforced VOWD, Commitment and Progress capture and reporting systems for full field development to ensure ‘no surprises’.  Ensured full transparency on contingency draw

Developed the Work Breakdown Structure and the initial Project Plan for the BassGas Project, in conjunction with others. 

·       Determined appropriate cost codes and allocated budgets.

·       Monitored and reported costs associated with the project and made adjustments as contract variations occurred and forecast costs changed.

·       Ensured correct coding of costs as commitments were made and that costs were compared to budget.

·       Developed the Work Breakdown Structure, determined appropriate cost codes and allocated budgets in line with the approved Work Estimate.
