Project Planning Engineer

KeyDuties:

·         Development of Earned Values Analyze System for Control of Project Cost & Budget.

·         Progress Monitoring, Updating of Schedule and Estimate Forecast at Completion.

·         Preparation of Analyzed Report for Management System.

Maintaining and updating of Schedules through communication with site personnel & management and site observations to determine target dates to meet schedule requirements.

Develop schedule baseline and time phased budget. Implementing Cost performance reporting system based on EVM (Earned value Management).

·       Development of Pre- Contract and Post- Contract Program Schedules, Work Breakdown Structures, Project Execution Plan and Method Statements

·       Coordinate with Project Team, Commercial dept., Engineering dept., Procurement dept., to prepare PM Budget, Project Cash Flow and Histograms, Information Required Schedule, Engineering Schedule, Material Submissions and Procurement Schedule

• Set the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) & Master Schedules for projects.
• Follow up the progress & cost of Project’s activities.
• Prepare Progress reports (Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly).
• Proven management records of multi-Millions’ contracts.
• Strong Interpersonal Project Management skills.
• Experience in planning large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of inter-relationship between disciplines.
• Strong leadership skills and team player.
• Deal with Primavera Software (P3,P5,P6) & Microsoft Project Software

• Preparation of contractual programs – Clause 14.1 for the awarded projects, in co-ordination with the project manager of that respective project, and assigning the quantities and manpower in the program for following up during updating, time wise and quantity wise.
• Preparing the Internal Target program, for the internal use of Al Habtoor Company, with same starting date and 2 month or less from the Clause 14.1 finish date.
• Updating the Clause 14.1 & Target Programs of nearly 4000 activities.
• Recovery Programs.
• Preparing Weekly & Monthly

Key Skills: Project Planning & Scheduling, Resource Allocation & Control, Monitoring Progress, Project Performance evaluation, Setting up and Implementing Project Status Reporting, Analysis of Project Delays.
