Project Description: 426 km long railway project pertaining to design, manufacture, assembly and operation startup of track superstructure, maintenance facilities, workshop and depot areas, stations, service building, track works, signalization, catenary systems, generator rooms, telecommunication and training of personnel.

•Prepare baseline schedule for project and Update Project Schedule in Primavera P6

• Preparing and update Procurement status register, Construction Status register.

• Prepare change requests and work cost variation if required.

Job Responsibilities:

Twenty years’ experience in cost control engineering, planning techniques and magnitude of estimation of refinery, gas processing, upstream and petrochemical for specialty contractors & EPC companies.  Responsibilities have covered managing revenue/cost of site, planning, scheduling, earned value management, preparing and implementing physical progress measurement reports, unit price development and estimation.  Current Subcommittee member of AACE Earned Value Management for AACE recommended practices.  I offer consultation or services, which

• Developing project master schedule and ensuring a baseline is in place for progress tracking.
• Monitoring and accurate update of progress, while tracking schedule changes and communicating same to the project team.
• Creating work breakdown structure (WBS) and projects schedules as per contract requirements, making inputs to the project management plan.
• Monthly review and update of schedule from accurate progress update gathered from site, flagging issues and corrective actions.
• Preparing progress measurement sheet (PMS) and value of work done (VoWD) sheet

• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules including development of critical path and project float.
• Partner with project personnel to establish the plan and document the scope, develop project schedules and or capital cost estimates.
• Make presentations to clients as needed.
• Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting.
• Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements.
• Conduct periodic site visits in order to review cost reporting.
