PLANNING ENGINEER

Working at the head office in Darlington on both live contracts, tenders and FEED studies, using both Primavera P3 and P5 (P3e) computer systems, with supporting documentation produced using various Microsoft packages in-line with the company’s CTR system. In this time I have worked on design, construction and EPC projects. Responsible for programme setup / development, progress monitoring and reporting.

Determining the optimal sequence of operations design to execution. Ensuring that construction projects are completed within the deadlines, the budget, and in compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.

Established positive communication between the various interfacing parties and stakeholders to enhance forecasting and mitigation plans production in support of the trials process;

Preparation of the Baseline program for building construction, road works, landscaping works, using Primavera 6.  Monitoring the progress using the software.  Preparation of recovery program if needed.  Updating of the Base-line program to reflect current progress status.  Preparation of weekly as well as monthly look ahead program, the monthly progress reports  and ensure their timely issue to the consultant.

• Overall responsibility for the development, monitoring and reporting of all programmes.
• Manage a portfolio of over 200 schemes and maintenance programmes.
