Lead Planner

I am the lead project planner for the Chevron Cape Town Refinery. Our department runs with the Capex programme for the refinery which involves a portfolio of about 200 projects at any one time. Total average annual spend is about $35million. Average project size is less than $1million with about 15 projects greater than $1million. Large projects include Flare renewal project, DCS upgrade, FCCU replacement and Air Quality Compliance projects. We run on Primavera version 6.2 and also run Pertmaster as the risk management tool.

Senior planner in the engineering sector for materials handing to the mining industry. Previous experience includes lead planner to the construction industry (mining) relating to civils, structural steel, mechanical & platework, piping, electricals & instrumentation.

2006 – 2007             Lead Project Planner

Leading a small team of planners providing detailed fully cost loaded programmes to London Underground (LU), for Metronet Rail Limited (MRL). This was as part of the additional works programme based at Derbyshire house.

Lead Planner HRV Iceland EPCM Upgrade Aluminium Smelter Project $460 million,

Responsible for the FRP overall commodity schedule, estimates, tracks progress based on quantities, updates & simulates revised baselines, and recommends and initiates leveling of resources and resource loadings.
