Project Global are currently representing a World Class Oil & Gas operator on their huge Multibillion Pound Oil Field Exploration in the Middle East. You will be Head Office based in London and travel occasionally to site.

Key accountabilities

*Input on definition and deliverability of Business Plan Elements (BPE’s).

*Recommend on whether Plan Change Proposal (PCP) is required for given change.

*Input on the plan deliverability and approval.

*Recommend when to execute activities to deliver an Area schedule that is deliverable within Area constraints.

*Recommend how to resolve cross-functional Business Plan Element conflicts.

*Recommend Area Operations Manager (AOM) Table issues to escalate to Regional Leadership Table (RLT).

*Recommend on development of Area Scheduling team personnel. 

Essential experience and job requirements

*Minimum 5 years operations experience preferably in the energy sector.

*Minimum Degree level qualified.

*2 Years in a leadership role leading a high performing team.

*Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across a broad range of internal and external customers.

*Ability to work with a multi-discipline, multi-cultural workforce.

*Keen to try new approaches and acquire useful new skills.

*Good customer focus.

*Fluency in the English Language.

Other essential skills and knowledge

*Drive value through integration of Area long-term (5 year)schedule.

*Integrator of all functional Business Plan Elements across all timeframes.

*Ensure that the activity set is deliverable within Area scheduling constraints.

*Identify and drive resolution of cross-functional conflicts and manage the inclusion of emergent Business Plan Elements into the Area schedules.

*Drive value through integration of Area 8Q schedule.

*Elements and that the activity set is aligned with the Regional strategy.

*Ensure that the 8Q activity set is deliverable within Area scheduling constraints.

*Identify and drive resolution of cross functional conflicts and manage the inclusion of emergent Business Plan Elements into the Area 8Q schedule.

*Owner of the Area scheduling processes.

*Provide leadership to the Lead Area Scheduler, Area Scheduler and Site Scheduler.

*Ensure that all Area scheduling processes are consistent with the Region Activity Planning Reference Manual.

*Drive standardisation and simplification of the Area Scheduling process across the Region.

*Drive Area decision-making.

*Support the AOM in the facilitation of the AOM Table.

*Support the Regional Business Plan Element update cycle.

*Ensure that all major changes to the Area schedule are controlled through Plan Change Proposals (PCPs).

*Drive site execution efficiency.

*Monitor Area Planning KPI-1, 2, 3 and 4 performances.

*Drive improvements in functional planning/area scheduling performance to close gaps.
