Project: Integrated Petrochemical Site (IPS) Expansion Project, Nanjing, China

Project Planner/Scheduler for the entire project that provides project control functions to Executive Management which includes but not limited to:

§  Coordinates and interfaces with Engineering, Procurement and Construction.

§  Integration of all EPC activities in the project.

§  Baseline schedule development.

The first of several RRL packages to be awarded and the timely

completion is critical in delivering the overall project to the client (MTM/DOT).

Being a design and construct project, the team had to hit the ground running in order

achieve the dates for PC. 

 

Since contract award, the team and myself have encountered many challenges, such as

producing documentation to get access to site and managing external interfaces.

Working around a busy, live rail environment requires careful pro-active planning

Currently Lead Planner on Owner's team for the Thick Seam Mining project in Broadmeadow Mine, QLD, Australia. This role is office based with some site interaction.

Reporting to Project Controls Manager and responsible for,

-Updating, development & maintaining the P6 master schedule

-Updating, development & maintaining the P6 interface schedule

-Monthly reports to Project Services

-Determining resource allocation & levelling in P6

Working as Lead Planner on a 2500MT Wellhead Production Platform Fabrication Project including offshore installation and HUC. Involved in the project from tender stage, currently in steel fabrication phase.

Responsible for all First Wall related planning activity associated with the leading research project into power generation via Nuclear Fusion, involving:

• Development of detailed level 3 and 4 networks to cover all aspects in preparation of ( and during) interventions and planned shutdowns of the Torus machine.
• Production of detailed schedules covering all aspects of the required logistics to support Remote Operations during the Shutdown.
• Production of long term plans for work package co-ordination and resourcing purposes.
