Responsible for all First Wall related planning activity associated with the leading research project into power generation via Nuclear Fusion, involving:

  • Development of detailed level 3 and 4 networks to cover all aspects in preparation of ( and during) interventions and planned shutdowns of the Torus machine.
  • Production of detailed schedules covering all aspects of the required logistics to support Remote Operations during the Shutdown.
  • Production of long term plans for work package co-ordination and resourcing purposes.
  • Resourcing of the programme with respect to key project resources to optimise their utilisation and minimise downtime.
  • Preparation of the Weekly Work Plan lookahead programme to facilitate effective short term planning and co-ordination.
