Most memorable project: First Federal Bank, Hwy 14, Lake Charles, LA (25% profit project) under my supervision / management. 31 consecutive completed projects in 10 years consisting of hospitals, banks, and schools. 5 years of this work were behavioral hospitals located out of town.
Obtained a Mechanic Class and included work at the Entergy powerhouse repairing coal grinders.
Estimating Structural and Industrial Pipe Packages. Scheduling shop activities and delivery schedules.
Also perfoming Scheduling (as the only professional Planner/Scheduler with this company) for the Tank and Vessel department.
I'm an engineer of energy sistems(power plants) and I work in nuclear power plant as outages planning engineer.
I'm a Designer by trade (25+ years), but picked up scheduling along the way to fill in the slow periods
Started scheduling using the DOS based version called Finest Hour. Somewhere in the early 90's I attended a 3-4 day long P3 training class at Primavera's then office in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Over the years I have dabbled on and off with P6, but the last several years (2010-current) my job title has shifted more to scheduling and less design.
