An energy from waste programme to upgrade an existing civic household recycling facility and to build a new gasification and anaerobic digestion facilities, new visitors centre with supporting infrastructure and legacy outbuildings.  The programme has to be sympathetic to the clients’ ongoing operational requirements.  The project includes demolition, ground work, piling, industrial construction and office fit out.  This role is client facing and main responsibilities include:

Pentech Ibérica. Planning&Control Manager for Middle East and Africa. Internal consulter/trainer of Primavera, SAP and Risk on Infrastructure Construction. Tenders to EPC projects.

-Develop and maintain the Engineering Time Schedule with input from the Engineering project team in Erlangen, Germany and support from the OL3 job site team.

-Use Primavera P6 for the Master Project Schedule and MS Project for various detailed schedules as needed to support the Engineering group and Project needs.

-Organize internal meetings with the relevant project members to update the Engineering Time Schedules and assure interrelationships with other groups are correctly modeled in the schedule.

Project Planner, Laing O’Rourke, Nottinghamshire, UK, Jun 2008 – Aug 2009

Project: Staythorpe Gas Power-station – Alstom Power – £54m

Construction of 4No 400 MW power-train units and cooling towers for a combined cycle gas turbine power-station. Works consisted of deep excavations, concrete foundations, duct, drainage and water cooling pipe installation.

Project: Sellafield Nuclear Encapsulated Product Store – Sellafield Ltd – £70m

Design and construction of a reinforced concrete nuclear waste storage facility, including overhead cranes, shield doors and full mechanical and electrical instrumentation and control.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Planning, Scheduling, Risk Analysis, Monitoring & Controlling of activities 

2. PMS implementation

3. Review and approve sub contractor documents

4. Cost Forecasting & Cash Flow.

5. Project administration

• Development and update of a work breakdown structure to subdivide projectcontracts, scopes, tasks, and deliverables into manageable components;• Tracking contracts, scopes of work, purchase as they relate to contract commitments, schedules and progress;• Tracking and coordinating all aspects of scheduled tasks.• Updating and maintaining project schedules in accordance with approved workplans, long-term strategic plans and other schedule and plan tools;• Coordinating and integrating with the Project Managers,
