As Volunteer for PMI-Romania Chapter, I have provided support to organization with following tasks and services:

– Prepare the concept of “Ex-members Satisfaction Survey”;

– Implement the feed-back received from the PMI Board to the final “Ex-members Satisfaction Survey”;

– Collect and process all the data received after the online post of the survey;

– Prepare and present the final report regarding the “Ex-members Satisfaction Survey”;

– Participate to PMI June Monthly Meeting;

As Project Controls Site Cost Control at Tecnimont for QChem II Project, Mesaieed, Qatar (Polyethylene Derivatives Plant), specific duties and job responsibilities include:

– Prepare the Total Installed Cost (Asset Register) by supply cost, overhead cost, erection/ installation cost and construction overhead to be provided to client as per the contract requirement and also for internal comparison with future project;

– Attend to pre-commissioning meetings as part of the integrated team for mechanical completion;

– Prepare the Pre-commissioning Daily Activity Report;

As Project Controls Cost Analyst at Washington Group International for Common Sulfur Project (CSP) at the job site Doha and Ras Laffan, Qatar, specific duties and job responsibilities include:

– Five (5) months field rotation with QatarGas Common Sulfur Project (QG CSP) in Qatar until June 2007.

– Lead responsibility for compiling QG CSP Monthly Internal Report and Office of the President Report to support I/P Business Unit review.

– Updates the progress curves and earned value performance trends for QG CSP. Validates progress reported in PTS (Project Tracking System).

As Project Controls Cost Analyst at Washington Group International for Common Sulfur Project (CSP) in Bucharest, Romania, specific duties and job responsibilities include:

Common Sulfur Project duties:

– Keeping the Head of Project Controls Department and Project Controls Manager (when applicable) informed in detail of progress and costs achieved against plans. Gives’ early warning of potentially unfavorable trends and monitors the activities for mitigation.

– Setup the Quantity Tracking System.

Divisional Cost Control Manager, San Nicolas, Aruba

Directed 11 team members responsible for in-house application operation, maintenance of IT systems, and numerous accounting duties. Tracked and analyzed multimillion dollar grass-roots and turnaround projects executed under arduous conditions.

Senior Cost Control Engineer, Manhattan, IL

Senior Project Controls Manager, Houston, TX (2009 – 2010)

Conducted training for corporate cost and accounting procedures for project teams in Kiev, Ukraine and Tbilisi, Georgia. Managed project close out for $43 million Sat Gas/Nafta Hydrotreater Fire Rebuild. Administered Prolog and Document Locator Systems (Citrix, Microsoft SQL Server, Share Point Portal Server, MS Office Applications).



Project Controls Manager, Tyler, TX (2008 – 2009)

Lead 10 person staff in project cost management, document control, translation, contract, estimate preparation, scheduling, accounting, and administration for international offices. Train project personnel on corporate policies/procedures and project controls systems in a high stress multinational environment. Prepare FY 2010 budgets for three international offices. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during the estimating, contract negotiating, and project execution phases. Assist with ISO 9001 certification and Earned Value Systems.
