Job Description:     Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer

Responsibilities:

§  Prepare master schedule for cement plants, prepare the detailed construction schedule for Sinai cement plant, prepare submittals & transmittals’ logs, prepare the resource loading table/charts, issue the two-week look-ahead schedule, attend the weekly progress meeting and prepare the monthly progress report.

Working according to monthly cashflow and meeting cashflow.  Also being able to predict monthly

expenditure and allocation of monies to correct vote numbers (Budgets) to ensure cashflow is met, and over

expenditure is limited.

- Planning monthly expenditure, based on development planning for work to be performed.

- Signing and approving of requisition requests, allocating the costs, and placing of requisitions on SAP

I am responsible for compiling and sending out on an daily basis a report, which indicates the meters planned for the specific day, and giving a true reflection of the meters blasted, and if not what was the reasons for not blasting, showing the effectiveness of LHD machines, hours worked, conveyor belt availability and hoppers cleaning, and tipping on the belt.

My role includes the development and monitoring of project schedules of capital asset growth projects from engineering, construction through to commissioing, for BHP Billiton Olympic Dam in South Australia. Olympic Dam is located 550km north of Adelaide and contains an unique ore body consisting of uranium, copper, gold and silver.
