I previously installed P6 8.3.2 on my Windows-8 computer. Later on I installed Windows 10. The result was that the P6 stopped working asking for database configuration which I could not do. So I tried to uninstall P6 and its database (Oracle XE) and tried to reinstall P6 from scratch. However, after going through the installation procedure for few minutes, a message pops up announcing that the installtion has halted prematurely.

After building the project schedule, but before reaching an agreed-to baseline with the client, is it ok to enter progress dates into activities that have taken place in the time between putting the schedule together and reaching the agreed-upon baseline with the client? Or is there a different standard method for doing this?

This is my first post on this forum so please forgive me for destroying forum rules.
My question is is there anyway to build a pattern in calendar? Like 2 days work 1 day holiday or nonworking day after 8 days of working. Maybe making a nonworking day per 2-3 weeks. I know i can do it manually but i need this for very long term projects. Sorry for my misarable english.
