Hi,
I am looking for some sort of way to create a summary line item that calculates the duration of the tasks below it...i.e i have 50 sub tasks, each taking 1 day each...so i want the summary to say 50 days...and after 3 tasks are done, i want the summary duration to say 47 days.
Heres the tricky bit though...i dont want to schedule / sequence the 50 tasks, as they can be done in any order...i just want them almost in a list form underneath the summary (all on same day) and i will close them off as they are completed.
Can anyone come up with an easy way to do this?

I am facing a problem with a 5000 activity Program. The Contractor gave the relations with FF, SS & FS.I observed that some of the activities don't have Finish to start relations only FF relations. Please help me filter all the activities which don't have Finish to start relations.

Is it possible to update the budgeted units of a ll activities in a P6 programme from Excel. I need to be able to be able to update these units using time distribution so specific for each month and not have P6 spread them as it sees fit.
To Clarify,
1) export resource assignment with time distributed Budgeted Units to Excel
2) edit excel fields accordingly
3) Import edited Excel sheet and schedule
