I needed opinion of professional planners.
The situation is that i am getting a couple of activities that are placed in my schedule so that it is not possible to assign them any successor.As a result the end is open end.Is it Right to assign them a finish milestone as a phase finish milestone and continue with the schedule????????????

Dear All,
Our client wants to compete for the construction of a complete sewage system, which includes the construction of sewage pipes in more than 200 streets.
During the construction streets will be closed, and some of them will be closed at the same time. It is a requirement (and we should prove it now in the tender phase) that despite of the cut offs (blockades) of the streets all the adresses will be accessible from everywhere.
At the same time - as deadline is tight - we want to start the construction at as many as possible streets.

When I used SureTrak it was as simple as saving the file with a different name and accessing the file from my desktop folder.
Any suggestions would be great?

I have been updating the progress in primavers version 6, by using Duration as % complete type.But i have also heard that one should use Physical as % complete type...I then used physical but the results were the same.Can someone tell me that what is the difference in using these two?????

I am developing a new schedule template which visualizes tasks which start/finish after the deadline, and task which start/finish earlier than planned.
Now I am looking for an appropriate terminology:
- the first would be called a "slipped task", or "task slippage"
- the second? An "advanced task", or "task advance"?

People working in primavera must know that when you schedule your programe of work after adding relationships,it makes its own critical path based on the longest path having 0 float...
Now I have a schedule with a critical path and i want to change my critical path.I know you can change it if you know how to play with the activity relationships ,but is there any other method that is time saving and shorter then the above mentioned one?????????????????????

I have an activity named "Mobilization"
The Planned Start is was 11th june 2011..and it started on the planned date i.e, 11th june 2011,
But it was holded due to some reason on 15th june and will remain holded till 18th june.
