In P6 reporting Edit mode , when we have a Variable cell , in Properties window , there is this drop down list under name of " Cell Variable " that any types of time,Data Date ... could be chosen .
My question is what are the " Header Lable (1,2,3) " or " Footer Lable " or " Custom " types? how can we define a Header labe for a Variable cell ?

Please what is the CORRECT way to refer to productivity (production) rates; is it:
A. Quantity of work per unit of resource e.g tonnes/hr
OR
B. Resource per unit of work e.g hrs/tonnes
I have come across this confusion across the internet even in PP rates & norms, where some are option A (above) biased and some otherwise. Or we can use these however we like? (I really doubt this).
I hope clearer light will be shone on this by respected planners.

I would like to know if there is any specific format of a thunderline report. The japanese people seem to follow it very keenly and they are asking me to prepare a report based on this format which they do not even have a sample of.
I have not seen or heard of any report as such.

Hey gang,
This seems simple but I can't find the solution. When printing from the Resource Assignment spreadsheet view, my data spans across two sheets of paper, however, the second page only shows a continuation of the data, it does not repeat the left columns, i.e. Activity ID, Activity Name etc. This can be a bit confusing when trying to match the second page up to the first to see which activity you're looking at.
Anyone know how to make this show up/print on the second sheet as well without having to export to excel?

I tried to Export P6 to Microsoft Excel, the export wizard guides me throug the steps but at the end it will come an error. It appears like this
"An application event has been intercepted. Please note the event code for reference. Event code is U-1672-2"
May any body can help me figure out for the error?

I prepared a man power histogram from actual dates ( actual start and expected date to finish ). there are activities alredy started and compleated 50% and consumed 50 % of man power, but the generated man power histogram not showing any reduction of man power in started activities . I really want to filter the consumed man power from the activity and show a realistic histogram , please give your suggestions to create a man power histogram in P3 by filtering man power that already consumed
